Gong history, written by Gilli Smyth

Gong have had a long and colourful story, starting with the 1968 revolution when founders Daevid Allen and Gilli Smyth had to flee as "revolutionaries". This is the story of the band through all its many stages and diversifications up to now.

Includes Gilli's poem "We Who Were Raging in the Late 60's and Early 70's"
(a satire from 1987) and a Gong timeline overview.
