Cher Luc,
Wish you had been here! Cool summer
evening weather meant constant visits to the beach at the edge of the Pacific
Ocean... over which hung a horny quarter moon. It was a beautiful happening with
the transformation of my house into a fun palace feast. Food, drinks,
decorations & swiss organisation orchestrated by Gilli, Turiya &
Maggie- the three mothers of my four children. Up stairs a huge jam rolled on
from early evening till 3am. Muso's kept arriving & leaving with amps up
& down the stairs all night. The high points occurred when the you'N'gong
rhythm section weaved their magick way through the throng to guide the music up
& up & up. All the neighbours within earshot were either away or invited
so it was relaxed, loving & O so sweet. A memorable event to keep me humble
& aware that 65 years can pass in flash & then only have real
significance for the people around you. Big hugs to you & yr boy
